After qualifying as a teacher of Mathematics and working in this capacity with colleagues across Multi-Academy Trusts, I became a Specialist Leader of Education. This was exciting work as it enabled me to support the development of educators across other organisations through mentoring and coaching. I later became a Lead Practitioner then Head of Mathematics.
Having seen the positive effects of my support in mentoring and coaching educators, this provided clarity for my future focus. This was the start of my drive to support others on their development journey.
Through consultancy work I have been able to focus on research, coaching and mentoring whilst continuing my own development journey. I continue to expand my knowledge through doctoral research.
