I am an educator, researcher and consultant committed to helping organisations develop the knowledge, confidence and leadership practice needed to create more equitable and inclusive environments.
My work sits at the intersection of education, racial literacy, anti-racism, leadership and organisational change.
I bring more than 14 years of education and leadership experience across schools, colleges and universities, alongside specialist expertise in educational research and leadership development.
My Experience
My career has included roles as a Specialist Leader of Education and Lead Practitioner in inner-city Bristol schools, alongside leadership, teaching, research and professional learning across education.
I currently serve as a school governor, where I am particularly interested in diversity, inclusion and effective governance.
I am also a coach on the Anti-Racist School Award programme at Leeds Beckett University’s Centre for Race, Education and Decoloniality.
Research
I am undertaking doctoral research in Education exploring perceptions of antiracist CPD in education.
My research examines what helps professional learning move beyond surface-level curriculum change towards meaningful changes in professional practice.
Research is central to my consultancy approach.
I want the work organisations undertake to be thoughtful, evidence-informed and connected to the realities of their context.
